Fried Plantain a.k.a Dodo

Fried Plantain a.k.a Dodo

There are some things that never leave your mind.  I remember going to the Notice Board in school – secondary school – week after week to check out the new “quote” for the week.  This one, by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, made a lasting impression as I can still remember it more than a decade later.  That is probably because it is even truer now than it was back then.  If that is even possible.

Oh, the quote; here it is:

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
US poet (1807 – 1882)

As for what this quote has to do with Fried Plantains (a.k.a. Dodo), if you give me time, I am sure I can come up with a good answer.  Meanwhile, drool on.
