Highlight-Books

As you read more and more books, stories, articles, etc, you will notice certain habits e.g. the pace at which you read, the writing styles you prefer or tend to gravitate towards, etc.

For me, I have noticed that I don’t read fast.  I love to take my time and digest words, sentences, passages.  Slowly.  Like eating a piece of chocolate and letting it melt in your mouth.  Or a piece of ice. 🙂

While reading, I usually highlight passages as I go along, and take notes.  Lots of notes.  It doesn’t matter whether I am reading a physical book (as long as I own it) or an e-book.  Same habit.  Of course, this means that it takes a while to finish one book, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Do you take notes as you read? What sort of reading habits do you have? I would love to know.
