Mr. Tumnus et Lucy
By Fawn, I am of course, referring to that mythical creature that is a half-goat, half-man (notice how I mentioned the goat part first. That’s the interesting part. We don’t care about the other half that’s a man). Mr. Tumnus, from C.S. Lewis’ “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe,” inspired this post.
I have learnt from watching ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe,’ that there are good fawns, and bad fawns. Fawns can be nice, but they can also be terrible traitors.Hopefully, if you have not watched it, I didn’t just ruin it for you.
Now, assuming you meet a ‘nice’ fawn, you can ask him if he would like to have tea with you. If you’re feeling extra generous that day, you can also offer to share a tin of sardines with him. Apparently, they like those too.
But if he’s a naughty fawn … oh *shakes head* well, he can eat rocks for all I care!
Truthfully, if I ever encountered a fawn, I would quietly cross the street and follow it (him) home … just to see if it came through the back of a wardrobe somewhere. *wink*
